Do I need a crypto wallet to use MakaPay?
Yes. You need a wallet address to receive payments. If you do not have one, MakaWallet sets up in two minutes. You can also use any EVM-compatible wallet like MetaMask or Coinbase Wallet.
Can I use one link for ongoing retainers?
Each payment link is single-use by default for clean reconciliation. For recurring clients, you can generate a new link per invoice in seconds, or use the API to programmatically create them.
What if my client does not have crypto?
Your client can buy USDT or USDC through MakaWallet, Coinbase, or any major exchange and pay you in under five minutes. The payment link includes instructions for first-time payers.
Can I send an invoice with my logo?
Yes. The payment link page includes your business name, logo, description, and amount. Customize the appearance in your dashboard under Settings > Branding.
