Create a free account at app.makapay.io and generate an API key from your dashboard under API Keys.

Create a payment
POST to /api/payments with your merchant wallet address, network, token, amount, and order ID. Receive a payment link and QR code in the response.

Configure a webhook URL to receive payment.completed events. Your system updates automatically when funds are confirmed on-chain.
FAQ
What is the base URL for the API?
The MakaPay API base URL is https://app.makapay.io/api. Authenticate using the x-api-key header with your API key from the dashboard.
Which blockchains does the API support?
The API supports MakaChain, Ethereum, Polygon (MATIC), and BNB Chain. MakaChain transactions have zero gas fees. Other networks incur variable gas costs.
Can I create payments for multiple different wallet addresses?
Yes. Each payment request includes a merchant wallet address field. You can specify different destination addresses per payment, which is useful for marketplace and multi-vendor setups.
What webhook events are available?
MakaPay sends events for payment status changes including payment.completed, payment.failed, and payment.expired. You can configure your webhook URL and select events from the dashboard.
